Grand jurors found there is enough evidence to charge the men with possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and unlawful possession of a weapon by having a handgun without a permit, the indictment states.

Both men have been lodged in the Monmouth County Jail since the incident, according to department of corrections records.
