Matawan Man Indicted on Theft Charge

Investigators say he unlawfully took materials in Keansburg

A Monmouth County grand jury voted to indict a Matawan man on theft charges.

Investigators say Steve Boyton, 37, unlawfully took copper welding lead on May 31 in Keansburg. The property is said to be worth over $500.

An indictment does not indicate a conviction, only that the charges may be brought to trial.
