Keyport Man Indicted on Theft Charge

A Monmouth County grand jury handed up the indictment Wednesday

A Keyport man was indicted Wednesday on allegations he used deception to steal car parts and dumpster containers valued in excess of $500.

Police say that James Bishop, 49, deceived an unidentified individual as well as Future Sanitation and Recycling on various dates between Sept. 2011 and Feb. 2012 in Howell Township. He is charged with one count of theft by deception.

It is a third degree crime.

An indictment does not indicate a conviction, only that the charges may be brought to trial.
