Hazlet Police Warn Local Business Owners of Suspected Shoplifting

Police are warning merchants about a man suspected of shoplifting in two Hazlet businesses, as well as a northwest New Jersey one.

Hazlet Police are warning area shop owners to be on the lookout for a man who has been suspected of shoplifting in two Airport Plaza businesses. 

The man was seen on videotape allegedly taking merchandise, and then later returning it for $100. In the other case, employees saw him acting suspiciously and chased him out of the store. 

The man, shown in the photo from surveillance video, is 400 lbs and 6'4". He has also been spotted by police in a similar case in northwest New Jersey. Police have not released his identity.
