Extrication Demonstration Scheduled for National Night Out in Matawan

The police and fire department will provide live demonstrations during National Night Out in the borough.

Join the Matawan Borough Police Department on Tuesday, Aug. 6 to participate in National Night Out. 

The free event is designed to strengthen relationships between the community and the police department, heighten crime and drug prevention and community awareness.

The police department will mark the event with demonstrations by the Advanced Services Unit and the Matawan Borough Fire Department from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the Bank of America parking lot on Main Street.

Stop by to witness a vehicle extrication demonstration at 7 p.m. followed by a roof rescue from police headquarters at 8 p.m.

The Matawan Police Department, in cooperation with the Matawan Policemen’s Benevolent Association Local #179 will be providing hot dogs and drinks.
