Cliffwood Man Arrested for Third Car Burglary

He was charged with two May 11 car burglaries last week, and now faces a third burglary charge

A Cliffwood man was charged with a third car burglary that allegedly took place on Friday, May 11.

According to a complaint out of the , Christian Mead, 22, allegedly entered car parked on West Prospect Avenue and removed about $250 in cash from the vehicle.

He is charged with third degree burglary and fourth degree theft.

Bail was set at $10,000.

Mead was charged last week for allegedly burglarizing two other cars on the same night in Aberdeen Township, one parked on Ferndale Place and another parked on Garden Place. According to court documents, Mead allegedly took oxycodone and clonezepan from the vehicles.

He was charged with two counts of third degree burglary, two counts of third degree theft and two counts of fourth degree possession of a controlled dangerous substance.

Bail was set at $30,000.
