Cardiac Victim Drives Through Front of Marlboro Home

A heart attack caused a driver to drive through the front of a home on Weathervane Way.

A driver crashed through the front corner of a Marlboro house last night, Aug. 16, at about 11:30 p.m., police say.

The homeowner, Dan Neufeld, said the accident happened while he was at home watching the end of the evening news.

No one inside the house was reported injured.

According to the Breaking News Network, a car drove through the front of Neufeld’s house on Weathervane Way a little before 11:30 p.m. The driver was pinned and unconscious, and Neufeld said he believes the accident was the result of cardiac arrest.

“Evidently the guy had a heart attack, and his foot naturally went ‘poof’ into the gas pedal,” he said.

Marlboro Police Chief Bruce Hall said the department is not yet releasing the name of the deceased, and are waiting to notify family that is outside of the jurisdiction.

The driver was still unconscious and not breathing when removed from the car and CPR was administered on the way to the hospital. According to the Breaking News Network, the man was pronounced dead at the hospital around 2:15 a.m.
