Car Thieves Hit Unlocked Vehicles at Two Apartment Complexes

The thefts occurred Tuesday.

Aberdeen Police report that three unlocked vehicles were entered, and items taken, at apartment complexes on July 8.  

Two navigation systems, a digital video camera, and cash were reported stolen. 

Two of the vehicles were parked in the Peach Tree Village complex on County Road, and one vehicle was parked in the Oakridge Manor complex on Cliffwood Ave.

"Residents are urged to remove all valuables and lock their vehicles," said Aberdeen Chief John Powers in a statement, adding that any suspicious activity be reported immediately to police.
