Car Reported Stolen in Aberdeen Recovered in Old Bridge

Also, vehicle on Nutmeg Road reportedly entered by unknown person

A car in Cliffwood Beach was reported stolen last week, though it later turned up in nearby Old Bridge, Aberdeen police reported.

The 2002 Hyundai was reported stolen from the front of a Woodmere Drive residence sometime overnight on Dec. 2, according to Aberdeen’s most recent police blotter.

It was later recovered in Old Bridge, police said. No arrests or charges were reported by authorities.

Officers Gus Grivas and John Zeller investigated the incident.

Police also responded to a Nutmeg Road home on Nov. 30 after a resident reported that his unlocked vehicle had been entered by an unknown person.

Nothing was reported stolen during the incident which was handled by Officer Matthew McDow, police said.
