Burglary and Attempted Burglary Reported in Aberdeen

Police are investigated a burglary and an attempted burglary on separate Brookview Lane homes

A Brookview Lane residence was burglarized sometime between Sunday, Jan. 22 and Tuesday, Jan. 24 while the homeowner was away, according to Aberdeen Township Police.

Chief of Police John Powers said the home was entered through a front window and a laptop and blank checks were taken.

On Sunday, Jan. 22 a different Brookview Lane resident reported that someone tried to break into his home shortly before midnight through a rear window. On Tuesday, Jan. 24, a third Brookview Lane resident reported two males, one wearing a white t-shirt, walking between houses on Brookview Lane.

Residents are when they go out, such as leaving lights, radios and televisions on. Any suspicious activity should be reported immediately.
