Police activity by the numbers in Aberdeen

The following are statistics released by the Aberdeen Township Police Department for officer activity between Oct. 9 and Oct. 15.

Officers responded to or initiated 239 calls for service, which included:

  • 11 suspicious persons/vehicles
  • 24 alarms
  • 21 first aid calls
  • 10 motor vehicle crashes
  • Five thefts
  • Five disorderly persons
  • Five domestic violence incidents
  • Three noise complaints
  • Two fights
  • One burglary
  • Six criminal mischief incidents
  • 63 motor vehicle stops—officers issued 62 motor vehicle summonses
