Aberdeen Police Blotter: Report of House Egging

·      March 14: Police charged a 55-year-old township man with simple assault and harassment following an incident at Tree Haven III apartments, Aberdeen Rd.  

·      March 14: Police arrested a 38-year-old township man for obstruction of justice and possession of marijuana following a motor vehicle stop on Atlantic Ave. 

·     March 15 a Sherwood Dr. resident in Cliffwood Beach reported someone threw eggs at his house.  

·      March 17: Police charged a 42-year-old Matawan man with harassment following an incident at Strathmore Gardens apartments, Atlantic Ave., 

The police department says officers responded to or initiated 356 calls for service between March 12 and March 18, 2014. These calls included seven suspicious persons/vehicles; 32 alarms; 23 first aid calls; eleven motor vehicle crashes; two disorderly persons, eight domestic violence incidents, three thefts, three noise complaints, three criminal mischief incidents, one assault, and 146 motor vehicle stops.  

Officers issued 113 motor vehicle summonses.
