Aberdeen PD: Theft, Disorderly Conduct

Aberdeen Township Police activity between Oct. 3 and Oct. 6

Officers responded to or initiated 117 calls for service between Oct. 3 and Oct. 6, including seven suspicious persons/vehicles, ten alarms, six first aid calls, two restraining order violations, two assaults, one motor vehicle crash, three fraud reports, three thefts, and fifteen motor vehicle stops, according to Aberdeen Chief of Police John Powers.

The following is a list of police activity as reported by the Aberdeen Township Police:

  • On Oct. 3 a resident of Belaire Court reported criminal mischief to her residence. Officer Gus Grivas investigated.
  • Officer Gus Grivas investigated an incident of a bad check at a Highway 35 business on Oct. 3.
  • A 47 year-old Old Bridge resident reported she was assaulted at a Highway 35 gas station on Oct. 3. Officer Martin Walsh investigated.
  • An employee of Addison Park, Highway 35, reported criminal mischief to his vehicle on Oct. 3. Officer Darryl Richardson investigated.
  • Officer Christopher DeSarno investigated a report of a violation of a restraining order on Dogwood Ct. on Oct. 3.
  • Officer Darryl Richardson responded to a report of theft by deception on Wayside Drive on Oct. 4.
  • Officer John Young investigated an incident of a bad check at Shop Rite, Lloyd Rd. on Oct. 5.
  • An Aberdeen resident reported that cash was taken from her purse while shopping at the A&P, Highway 35 on Oct. 5. Officer John Young investigated.
  • Jeane B. Dalton, 50, of Aberdeen, was arrested by Officer Frank Maisano on Oct. 5 for disorderly conduct on North Concourse. She was released with a summons.
  • Justin L. Rosario, 21, of New York City, was arrested on Oct. 5 on a contempt of court warrant out of Shrewsbury Municipal Court. He was released on bail. Det. Henry Chevalier was the arresting officer.
  • Jonathan M. Soto, 26, of Union Beach, was arrested on Oct. 5 on a contempt of court warrant out of Aberdeen Municipal Court. He was committed to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution in default of bail. Officer Craig Hausmann made the arrest.
  • Ana P. Pires, 46, of Aberdeen, was arrested on Oct. 6 on a contempt of court warrant out of Sayreville Municipal Court. She was released on bail. Officer Michael Lasko made the arrest.
  • Kelsey A. Jensen, 20, of Marlboro, was arrested by Det. Henry Chevalier on Oct. 6 for theft by deception on Aug. 26. She was released pending a court appearance.
  • Bryan M. Vittitoe, 37, of Aberdeen, was arrested on Oct. 6 on a contempt of court warrant out of Aberdeen Municipal Court. He was released on bail. Officer Matthew McDow made the arrest.
