Aberdeen PD Makes 3 DWI Arrests

Aberdeen Township Police arrests between Sept. 16 and Sept. 18

The following is a list of arrests made by police between Sept. 16 and Sept. 18, as reported by the Aberdeen Township Police Department:

  • India N. Shaw, 21, of Aberdeen, was arrested by Officer Gus Grivas on Sept. 16 on a contempt warrant out of Union Township
    Municipal Court. She was released on bail.
  • Rickey O. Labega, 36, of Matawan, was arrested on Sept. 16 on a contempt of court warrant out of Perth Amboy Municipal Court
    following a motor vehicle stop on Lower Main St. He was issued summonses for unregistered vehicle, driving while suspended, and uninsured vehicle and released after posting bail. Special Officer Michael Sullivan was the arresting
    officer.
  • Corey C. Jackson, 20, of Aberdeen, was arrested on Sept.
    16 on a contempt of court warrant out of Aberdeen Municipal Court. He was released after posting bail. Officer Christopher DeSarno was the arresting officer.
  • Officer Anthony Valentino arrested Christopher J. Skwiat, 29, of Sayreville, for driving while intoxicated on Sept. 17 at 4:05 a.m.
    after responding to a call of a vehicle parked on the lawn of a residence on Canfield Lane. Skwiat, the driver of the vehicle, was also charged with reckless driving and parking on a sidewalk. He was released to a family member pending a court appearance. P.O. Roger Peter assisted.
  • Ahmed A. Hady, 27, of Aberdeen, was arrested on Sept. 17on a contempt of court warrant out of South Amboy Municipal Court
    following a motor vehicle stop on Cliffwood Ave. He was issued summonses for driving while suspended and view obstruction and released after posting bail. Officer Raymond Campbell was the arresting officer.
  • Zulien Ruiz, 22, of Old Bridge, was arrested on Sept. 17 on a contempt of court warrant out of Edison Municipal Court. She was released after posting bail. Officer Raymond Campbell was the arresting officer.
  • Officer Roger Peter arrested a seventeen-year-old juvenile for driving while intoxicated on Sept. 18 at midnight following a motor vehicle stop on Highway 35. The juvenile was also charged with speeding, consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle, possession of an open alcoholic beverage container in a vehicle, being under the influence of CDS, and underage possession of
    alcohol. She was released to a family member pending a court appearance. Officer Frank Maisano and Old Bridge Polic Officer Doctors assisted.
  • Officer Raymond Campbell arrested Nery Ramos-Rojas, 25, of Old Bridge, for driving while intoxicated on Sept. 18 at 1:21 a.m. following a motor vehicle stop on Highway 35. He was also charged with reckless driving, unlicensed driver, driving while suspended, and obstructing traffic. He was also wanted on contempt of court warrants out of Aberdeen Municipal Court and was subsequently committed to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution in default of bail. Officer Frank Maisano and Officer Christopher DeSarno assisted.
