Aberdeen PD Makes 4 DWI Arrests

Police Chief John Powers released the following information from the Aberdeen Township Police Department:

The Aberdeen Township Police made the following arrests between July 1, 2011 and July 5, 2011:

  • Jessica L. McMenemy, 20, Spencer Lane, Old Bridge, was arrested on July 4, 2011 at 1:33 AM by Sgt. Darrell Oliver for DWI following a motor vehicle stop on Highway 35.  She was issued summonses for DWI, refusal to submit to a breath test, unsafe lane change, reckless driving, failure to wear a seatbelt, underage consumption of alcohol, and hindering her apprehension. She was released pending a court appearance.
  • Andy Lam, 19, Ayrmont Lane, Aberdeen, was arrested on July 4, 2011 at 2:49 AM by P.O. Matthew McDow for DWI following a motor vehicle crash on Church St.  He was issued summonses for DWI, leaving the scene of an accident, improper turn, reckless driving, failure to stop at a stop sign, and failure to maintain lane. He was released pending a court appearance.
  • Jeremy J. Pohlman, 34, Hayward Ave., Carteret, was arrested on July 4, 2011 at 11:32 PM by P.O. Anthony Valentino for DWI following a motor vehicle stop on Highway 35.  He was issued summonses for DWI, speeding, uninsured motor vehicle, and reckless driving. He was released pending a court appearance.
  • Robert M. Bozzett, 19, Idlewild Lane, Aberdeen, was arrested on July 5, 2011 at 6:13 AM by P.O. Roger Peter for DWI following a suspicious person call on Idlewild Lane.  He was issued summonses for DWI under age 21, obstructing the flow of traffic, and reckless driving. He was released pending a court appearance.
  • Raheem Griffith, 22, of 15th Avenue, Newark, was arrested on July 1, 2011 at approximately 5:34 PM on Matawan Ave. on a contempt of court warrant out of Hazlet municipal court.  He was released on a $390.00 recognizance bond.  P.O. Craig Hausmann was the arresting officer.
  • Ioannis Kosmas, 53, Laurel Ave., Keansburg, NJ, was arrested on July 2, 2011 at approximately 8:20 AM on Courtland Lane for violation of a court order.  He was committed to MCCI in default of $10,000 bail with no 10% option.  P.O. Mary Johnston made the arrest.
