Aberdeen PD Investigate Car Burglaries

Chief Powers urges residents to lock cars and remove valuables

Aberdeen Township Police are investigating the burglaries of five vehicles in the Cliffwood Beach section of the township between June 18 and June 28, according to a release from Police Chief John Powers.

The burglaries occured on Beachwood Way, Wayside Drive and Brookside Avenue and were reported to police on June 27 and June 28. All of the vehicles were left unlocked.

Items taken include GPS navigation devices and other personal belongings. Residents are urged to lock their vehicles, remove all valuables and immediately report suspicious activity to police.
