Aberdeen PD: Burglary, Careless Driving

Aberdeen Township Police Department activity from Sept. 26 through Sept. 29

Officers responded to or initiated 172 calls for service between September 26
and September 29, including eight suspicious persons or vehicles, ten alarms,
eleven first aid calls, seven motor vehicle crashes, four disorderly persons
calls, four domestic violence incidents, seven thefts, and forty-five motor
vehicle stops, according to Aberdeen Chief of Police John Powers.

The following is a list of police activity from Sept. 26 through Sept. 29, as reported by the Aberdeen Township Police Department:

  • Betsy G. Moses-Loewenson, 47, of Morganville, was charged with careless driving after a motor vehicle crash on Highway 34 on September 26, 2011 at 9:04 AM. There were no injuries. P.O. Matthew Lloyd investigated.
  • P.O. Darryl Richardson responded to reports of stolen bicycles on Brown Place and Dolan Ave. on September 26, 2011.
  • On September 26, 2011 P.O. Matthew Lloyd investigated the theft of appliances from a residence on Salem Place.
  • On September 26, 2011 criminal mischief was reported at the Cliffwood Ave. School. P.O. Martin Walsh took the report.
  • Khalil M. Suaray, 56, of North Brunswick, was charged with careless driving after a motor vehicle crash on Highway 35 on September 26, 2011 at 9:14 PM. There were no injuries. P.O. Brian Alberti investigated.
  • Robert Beaton, 69, of Manalapan, was charged with careless driving after a motor vehicle crash on Lloyd Rd. on September 27, 2011 at 7:36 AM. There were no injuries. P.O. Michael Plant investigated.
  • A resident of Oxford Lane reported the theft of prescription medication from his vehicle on September 27, 2011. P.O. John Young investigated.
  • P.O. Mary Johnston investigated a report of harassment at Matawan Terrace Apartments on September 28, 2011.
  • P.O. Jeffrey Griffith responded to a report of a fight at Matawan Terrace apartments on September 28, 2011 at 4:47 PM.
  • A resident of Shadynook St. reported a road rage incident that took place on Highway 35 on September 28, 2011. P.O. Matthew McDow investigated.
  • P.O. John Young investigated the burglary of a storage locker at a facility on County Rd. on September 29, 2011.
  • A homeowner on Salem Place reported the burglary of a residence on September 29, 2011. P.O. Mary Johnston investigated.
  • Olga Ramirez, 58, of North Bergen, was charged with careless driving after a motor vehicle crash on Highwy 35 on September 29, 2011 at 3:13 PM. There were no injuries. P.O. Michael Plant investigated.
  • Det. Manuel Carabel arrested William A. Kurilla, 44, of East Brunswick, on September 27, 2011 for on July 1, 2011. He was released pending a court appearance.
  • Det. Manuel Carabel arrested Adegoke O. Odina, 43, of Old Bridge, on September 28, 2011 for simple assault and theft on July 12, 2011 on Matawan Ave. He was released pending a court appearance.
  • Michael A. Masonius, 19, of South Amboy, was arrested by Det. Henry Chevalier on September 28, 2011 and on September 12, 2011. Bail was set at $20,000 with no 10% option. Mr. Masonius was already lodged in the Middlesex County Jail on other charges.
  • Lee R. Smith, 41, of Aberdeen, was charged with driving while intoxicated on September 27, 2011 at 12:48 PM following a motor vehicle stop on Grove St. He was also charged with driving an uninsured vehicle. P.O. Darryl Richardson was the arresting officer.
  • Cathleen M. Lobosco, 46, of Aberdeen, was arrested on September 28, 2011 by P.O. Michael Lasko on a contempt of court warrant issued out of Aberdeen municipal court. She was released on bail.
  • Natalie M. Hay, 23, of Aberdeen, was arrested on September 29, 2011 by P.O. Michael Lasko on a contempt of court warrant issued out of Aberdeen municipal court. She was released on bail.
  • Ralph T. Lengyel, Jr., 51, of Aberdeen, was arrested for harassment on September 29, 2011 by P.O. Louis Nanna. He was released after posting $1,000 bail.
