Aberdeen PD Blotter: Burglary and Theft

Aberdeen Township Police Department activity between Sept. 12 and Sept. 15

Officers responded to or initiated 153 calls for service between Sept. 12 and Sept. 15, including two domestic violence incidents, nine suspicious persons or vehicles, four alarms, eleven first aid calls, twelve motor vehicle crashes, four disorderly persons calls, three noise complaints, and twenty motor vehicle stops, according to Chief of Police John Powers.

The following is a list of police activity between Sept. 12 and Sept. 15 as reported by the Aberdeen Township Police Department:

  • Two residential burglaries were reported on Deerfield Lane on Sept. 12. Entry was gained through front windows and a laptop computer and some jewelry were taken. Officer Michael Lasko, Officer Mary Johnston, Det. Sgt. Michael O’Dwyer, Det. Hank Chevalier, and Det. Michael Vaccaro conducted the investigation.
  • On Sept. 12 at 10:21 a.m. police responded to a motor vehicle crash on Highway 34 and Lloyd Rd. Timothy Arnold, 21, of Old Bridge, was issued a summons for operating an unregistered vehicle. One minor injury was reported. Officer Michael Plant investigated.
  • Police responded to a residence on Wayside Drive on Sept. 12 regarding an emotionally disturbed individual. Officer Michael Lasko and Officer Michael Plant investigated.
  • Officer Louis Nanna investigated the theft of a diamond ring on Shadynook St. on September 13, 2011.
  • Police responded to a theft allegedly committed by an employee at the Bed, Bath, and Beyond store on Highway 34 on Sept. 14. Officer Michael Lasko investigated.
