Aberdeen PD Answers 195 Calls for Service

Aberdeen Township Police answered multiple calls for service between July 27 and July 31.

The Township Police Department responded to or initiated 195 calls for service in the five-day period, including 17 first aid calls, four motor vehicle crashes, two domestic violence incidents, three noise complaints and nine suspicious vehicle or persons incidents.

According to Aberdeen Chief of Police John Powers, this is an increase in the usual amount of activity for the police department, especially in regards to the high number of first aid calls.

Officers also made 71 motor vehicle stops and issued 45 summonses, according to Chief Powers.
