Aberdeen PD Answers 112 Calls for Service in Three Days

Aberdeen Township Police Activity, Aug. 19-21

The Aberdeen Township Police Department responded to or initiated 112 calls for service between Aug. 19 and Aug. 21. Among these were six motor vehicle crashes, seven first-aid calls, four suspicious persons/vehicles, eight alarms, one burglary, two thefts, ten motor vehicle stops, and two domestic violence incidents.

The following is a list of police activity between Aug. 19 and Aug. 21, as reported by the Aberdeen Township Police Department:

  • On Aug. 19 officers assisted the Matawan Police Department with at the Aberdeen-Matawan Train Station.
  • On Aug. 20 a worker at Exxon, Highway 34, reported that at subject left without paying for $44.00 worth of fuel. Officer John Young was the investigating officer.
  • On Aug. 21 Officer Edgar Serrano recovered a vehicle that had been reported stolen from Old Bridge Township.
  • On Aug. 21 SLEO II Mike Sullivan investigated a report of Criminal Mischief and Harassment on Salem Place.
  • On Aug. 21 a resident of Aberdeen Road reported that $350.00 worth of jewelry was stolen from her home. Officer Matthew McDow was the investigating officer.
