Aberdeen Man Made False 911 Call, Police Say

George M. Dzurina allegedly reported an assault that did not take place.

An Aberdeen man was charged with false public alarm after allegedly placing a false 911 call.

George M. Dzurina, 47, of Atlantic Avenue, was arrested Tuesday. Police said he called 911 dispatchers to report a threat and an assault that did not take place.

He was remanded to Monmouth County Correctional Institution on $2,500
bail.
