Obituary: Michael Pavlo, 69, of Old Bridge-Matawan Area

Pavlo served his country in the U.S. Army from 1965 to 1968.

Michael W. Pavlo, 69, of Old Bridge/Matawan area, passed away, Thursday, April 25, 2013, at the VA Hospital, East Orange.

Born in Newark, he resided in Irvington before moving to Old Bridge.  He was the owner/director of Mike Pavlo & Associates, Pump Consultants, working for Worthington Pump Corp., Harrison, as manager of Customer/Field Service with responsibility for all products out of Harrison, in conjunction with Pacific Pumps in California. He was also a Product Engineer for Ingersol-Rand Pumps and ITT. He was shop superintendent with Goulds Pumps for a number of years before affiliating with Robert D. Brights Field Service Consultants, Inc. Michael served his country in the U.S. Army from 1965 to 1968. He served in “D” Battery, 2nd Missile Battalion 56th Artillery Division. 

Michael was predeceased by his first wife, Patricia (nee Petro); and his second wife, Kathleen (nee Simon); a brother, John P. Pavlo in 2012; and his parents, John and Mary Udut Pavlo.  He is survived by his loving sister, Maryjane Iannarone and her husband, Nelson of Brick; two nephews, John S. Pavlo and Nelson Iannarone; three nieces, Susan Brouillard, Michel Doczi and Justine Iannarone; and a sister-in-law, Corrine (nee Reynolds) Pavlo.  He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him; and by his dog, Onyx.

At the direction of the family, cremation will be private. A memorial gathering will take place on Friday, May 3, 2013, from 3-7PM, with a 6PM memorial service at Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Place, Keyport, NJ  07735.
