Obituary: Matawan Regional High School Graduate Dies at 80

Visitation will be held on Monday and services will be held Tuesday.

Stephen William "Bill" Seaman, 80, of Whiting, passed away after a long illness Wednesday January 30, 2013 at Golden Living Nursing Home, Old Bridge. He was born in Perth Amboy and lived in Cliffwood Beach before moving to Whiting in 1996.

Bill graduated from Matawan High School and proudly served in the U.S. Army. Before retiring in 1996 he worked for the Aberdeen Township Road Department for approximately 15 years. 

He is survived by his wife of 60 years Ann Seaman of Matawan - 3 sons Donald of Cliffwood Beach, Michael and his wife Denise of Keyport, Gregory and his wife Kimberly of Howell and a daughter Barbra and her husband Kurt Poling of Allentown, PA; a dear sister Carol Vanderbilt and her husband Dan of Morganville and 6 beloved grandchildren: Brittany, Alex , Shauna, Kelsey, Brett and Emily.

Visitation will be held on Monday February 4, 2013 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at the Waitt Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 501 Highway 79, Morganville, NJ. Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the funeral home on Tuesday February 5, 2013 from 9:30am - 10:30am with a funeral service taking place at 10:30am. Burial will follow in Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veteran Cemetery, Arnytown, NJ. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Vitas Hospice 1 Meridian Way Suite 5 Eatontown, NJ 07724
