Obituary: David Resignato, 55, of Matawan

He was an avid boater and enjoyed boating with Sandi and friends at the marina in Keyport.

David Resignato, 55, of Matawan, passed away, Sunday, March 3, 2013, at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge. He was born in New York City, resided in South Amboy, before moving to Matawan. For the past 30 years, David owned and operated Comfort Concepts, Matawan. He was an avid boater and enjoyed boating with Sandi and friends at the marina in Keyport.

David was predeceased by his parents, Ralph and Norma Resignato; and his wife, Anita (nee Chiddo). He is survived by his loving son, David Resignato of Aberdeen; his cherished companion, Sandra Furnbach; her daughter Sandy Furnbach, two brothers, Michael Resignato of Helmetta; and Ralph Resignato of South Amboy; a sister, Lisa Gallicchio of Howell; niece, Rachel Resignato; and several nephews, Raphael Resignato, Nicholas Gallicchio, Thomas Gallicchio, William Poole and Stephen McManus. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Family and friends are invited Thursday, March 7, 2013, from 2-4 & 7-9PM at Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Place, Keyport, NJ 07735; and Friday, 8:30AM at the funeral home, with a 9:30AM Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Family RC Church, Union Beach.
