Matawan Resident, IT Consultant Dies at 53

Charles B. David was known as the ultimate "Mr. Fix-It."

Charles B. David, 53, of Matawan passed away at home on Saturday morning, October 5, 2013 surrounded by his loving family. Born and raised in Kenilworth, Chuck lived in Matawan for the past 7 years.

He was an IT Consultant with QED working for the Brooklyn Dept. of Education. He will forever be remembered for his sense of humor, and as an avid fan of the Mets and Giants. With his IT ingenuity he created an online football league which brought many hours of competitive enjoyment to all of his friends involved. Known as the ultimate "Mr. Fix-It", Chuck enjoyed many home projects.

He was predeceased by his father Charles. He is survived by his wife of 29 years Lori (nee Crisofulli), who literally never left his side throughout his brief illness, his mother Laurie David, his son Sean, daughter Kelly, sister Karen Jordan and her husband Bob, his brother James, his mother in law Betty Crisofulli, sister in law Janice and her husband Gerard Scapicchio, brother in law Thomas Crisofulli and his wife Staci, and many beloved nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Visitation will be on Tuesday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Holmdel Funeral Home, 26 South Holmdel Road, Holmdel. A funeral Mass will be offered on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at St. Clement R.C.Church, 172 Freneau Avenue, Matawan.

Due to the unforeseen circumstances of Chuck's diagnosis coming only 6 short weeks ago, in lieu of sending flowers, donations to his family or to the The Pancreatic Support Fund, 100 – Madison Avenue, Carol Simon Center, Morristown, 07962 would be appreciated.
