Matawan Resident, Army Veteran Robert D. Zeller Dies at 80

Zeller worked as a truck driver with Imperial Oil in Morganville.

Robert D. Zeller, 80, of Matawan, passed away, Monday, March 3, 2014, at home. He was born in Jersey City.  Robert worked as a truck driver with Imperial Oil, Morganville.  He served his country in the Army.

Robert was predeceased by his beloved wife, Patricia Ann Zeller; a son, Robert Zeller, Jr.; his parents, Robert D. and Carolyne (Weiss) Zeller; and siblings, Mary, Howie and Joanie.  He is survived by his children, Richard of DE; Steven of Matawan; Robin Wittenstein and husband Mark of PA; Michelle Carver and husband Jeff of Howell;  Kerri Zeller of Matawan; and Kimberly Saglamdemir and husband Mustafa of Aberdeen; a sister, Viola; a brother, George; his grandchildren, Jason and Leah Wittenstein, Richie and Timothy Zeller, Jonathan Santiago, Cemal and Ali Saglamdemir, Tanya Springvloed, Michael Zeller, Kristina Carver, Ryan Beers and Samuel Hall; and a great grandson, Able Towers- Zeller.  He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
