Matawan Businessman, Area Resident Dies at Age 78

Allen Neustater, 78, died Monday, Oct. 7, 2013, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital.

Born in the Bronx, Allen has lived in Marlboro for the last 40 years and prior to that Brooklyn. He is a graduate of New York University and is the founder and president of Gemtor Inc. a safety equipment manufacturer located in Matawan, NJ since 1985.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Florence (nee Hart); his children, Brett & Laura Neustater, Wendi & Douglas Adams, Craig & Joanne Neustater and Tricia & Jason Miller. Allen is also survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Bernice & Steve Mizels; a sister-in-law, Brenda Hart, as well as his 11 grandchildren.

Services were held Wednesday under the direction of Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, Manalapan.
