Jonathan G. Buxbaum, 33, Former Matawan Resident

Service scheduled for Sunday

Jonathan G. Buxbaum, 33, of Laurence Harbor, passed away, Friday, Dec. 6, 2013 at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel.  

Born in Red Bank, he resided in Matawan before moving to Laurence Harbor.  

Jonathan was a Yankee and Giants Fan. He also loved to fish.

Jonathan was predeceased by his father, Peter Buxbaum. He is survived by his devoted mother, Donna (Eversole) Buxbaum; a dear sister, Jennifer Gillman and brother-in-law, Todd Gillman of Mt. Laurel; he was a loving uncle to Taylor, Ryan and Brielle Gillman; as well as many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.  

He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Family and friends are invited Sunday, Dec. 8 from 1 to 5 p.m. at Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Place, Keyport, NJ  07735; with a service at the funeral home. Cremation will be private.  

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN  38105 in Jonathan’s memory.
