Former Foodtown Grocery Manager, Matawan Resident Dies at 103

Henry Buxbaum, 103, of Matawan/Old Bridge area, passed away, Friday, Sept. 20, at Bayshore Health Care, Holmdel. He was born in Jersey City. Henry worked as a grocery manager for Foodfare/Foodtown Supermarkets.

Henry was predeceased by his beloved wife, Anneliese; and a son, Henry. He is survived by two loving daughters, Lois VanRooy of North Bergen and Leah Lane and husband Richard of Wayne; daughter-in-law, Nancy Buxbaum of PA; stepdaughter Rita Kennedy of AZ; seven cherished grandchildren; and 11 precious great grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
