101-Year-Old Aberdeen Woman Dies

She was a homemaker and a member of the St. Benedict Seniors and the Trinity Church Seniors of Marlboro.

Frances (Alongi) Pizzuti, 101, of Aberdeen, passed away, Sunday, March 10, 2013, at home. She was born in Brooklyn, NY. She was a homemaker and a member of the St. Benedict Seniors and the Trinity Church Seniors of Marlboro.

Frances was predeceased by her beloved husband, Costantino in 1999; a daughter, Anne Gerecitano in 1979; and her parents, Sebastian and Aurora Alongi. She is survived by her loving children, Gloria Bebel of Aberdeen; and Aurora Castorina of Long Island; a sister, Maria Dussich of Florida; seven cherished grandchildren; and precious great grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Family and friends are invited Tuesday, March 12, 2013, from 2-4 & 7-9PM at Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Place, Keyport, NJ  07735; and Wednesday, March 13, 2013, 10AM at the funeral home, with an 11AM Mass of Christian Burial at St. Benedict RC Church, Holmdel. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Keyport.
