Community Asked to Support Family of Matawan Responder

First aid squad life member Kenneth McDow's daughter has battled cancer since age 6

The Matawan First Aid and Rescue Squad is asking for the community’s help in supporting a life member whose daughter is battling cancer.

Squad member Kenneth McDow’s daughter, Graysen, 8, has been battling cancer for the past two years, having been diagnosed with rhabdomyosarcoma at age 6. Since then, she has undergone radiation and chemotherapy.

To help support the family, a GoFundMe donation page has been set up, and a chicken Parmesan dinner has been planned for Saturday, Nov. 23 at the Howell Elks, 84 Ramtown-Greenville Rd., according to a post on the squad’s Facebook page.
