What's Closed and Open on Thanksgiving, Black Friday

Municipal offices and schools in Matawan and Aberdeen will be closed Thursday and Friday in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.

In addition, the Matawan-Aberdeen library will close at 6 p.m. on Wednesday and reopen on Saturday. 

A community Thanksgiving dinner will be served at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Matawan United Methodist Church, 478 Atlantic Ave. Call 732-566-2996 to reserve a seat.

For those hoping to score some Black Friday deals, the Monmouth Mall will be closed on Thanksgiving but will open from midnight to 10 p.m. on Black Friday.

Select stores at the Jersey Shore Premium Outlets will begin opening as early as 8 p.m. on Thanksgiving. You can view a list of those stores by clicking here. All of the outlets stores will open from midnight to 10 p.m. on Black Friday.

Thanksgiving is a federal holiday, meaning those offices will be closed and mail will not run Thursday.
