Only a Few Days Left to Help Fight Hunger

Aberdeen continues to collect food donations to benefit local food pantries as part of Hunger Action Month.

October is quickly approaching and so is the end of Hunger Action Month.

Make sure to help support local families in need by dropping off non-perishable food items at the Aberdeen Township Municipal Building, the George Hausmann Senior Center and at Home Away from Home Academy.

Donations of non-perishable items in cans, cardboard containers or cellophane-wrapped packaging can be dropped off in the lobby of the Aberdeen Township Municipal Building in the designated food collection bins between 8:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., seven days a week. Items can also be dropped off at the George Hausmann Senior Center and at Home Away from Home Academy. Donors are asked to not bring items in glass jars or perishables.
