A 28-year-old from Matawan is trying to raise funds for a mission trip to Australia.
Joanna Maria created a GoFundMe page in hopes of raising $6,800 to fund a trip to volunteer with NET Ministries Australia. So far, $1,585 has been raised.
"God has been knocking on the doors of my heart for a while to serve him in some way," she writes on the GoFundMe site.
After the training, she hopes to work with high school students through retreats, seminars and rallies.
