Matawan, Aberdeen Offering Thanksgiving Dinner for Those in Need

Limited number of tickets available for holiday meal

Aberdeen and Matawan are teaming up to feed those in need of a warm meal this Thanksgiving.

Up to 50 tickets are available for the Thanksgiving Day dinner at The Park Place Diner in Matawan. The event is closed to the public and will be held between 2 and 4 p.m. on Nov. 28, according to Aberdeen officials.

The dinner, hosted by Peter and James Leventakis, is sponsored by Kimisis Tis Theotokou Greek Orthodox Church of Holmdel in conjunction with the Aberdeen Township Police Department and Matawan Borough Police Department.

Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis. More information is available by contacting Brittany Frederick, Aberdeen’s public information officer at 732-583-4200, ext. 130.
