Monmouth County is looking to help veterans get employed, through the county Veterans Services Office.

“Our veterans have put their life on hold and on the line to defend our country and then come home to find themselves unemployed and struggling to find a job,” said Freeholder John P. Curley, liaison to the CVSO. “Our Veterans Services Office can assist our vets by providing resources and guidance during their search for employment.”

The MCVSO keeps an active list of employers looking to hire veterans, as well as job training programs. The county can also point to resources to help with resumes and interviews, according to a county news release.

Veterans can stop by the office located at 21 Main and Court Center in Freehold from noon to 4 p.m., call 732-683-8675 or visit the Veterans Services section of the County website at www.visitmonmouth.com.
