"Dentistry From the Heart" Free Dental Care Day

Dr. Jay Silverstein will host Aberdeen Family Dental’s first ever Dentistry From The Heart (DFTH) event on August 24th, providing a free day of dental care to an estimated 100 patients or more.

Across the country each year, Dentistry From The Heart patients travel to dental practices for the their free day of dentistry. New Port Richey dentist Dr. Vincent Monticciolo started DFTH in 2001 as a way to give back to the community and provide aid to the growing number of Americans without dental insurance. Since its inception, DFTH has grown to include over 200 annual events nationwide and provided more than 45,000 people with free dental care services.

This year, Dr. Silverstein and practice owner Dr. Daniel Di Cesare, aided by their team of dentists and volunteers from Aberdeen Family Dental will provide free extractions, fillings or cleanings to as many patients possible. This is the first annual event for Dr. Silverstein, who estimates they will donate more than $35,000 in free dental care to over 100 New Jersey residents.  “It all comes down to wanting to provide something greater to my community. The services provided by DFTH give patients a renewed reason to smile,” said Dr. Silverstein.
