Matawan Historical Society Monthly Meeting

The first monthly meeting of the 2014 calendar year for the Matawan Historical Society will be March 24 at 7:30 PM at the Burrowes Mansion Museum, 94 Main Street, Matawan. The speaker is Richard Veit, a Professor at Monmouth University.

His speech is titled, "Patriots, Tories, Inebriates, and Hussies".

Professor Veit is the author of multiple articles and several books on New Jersey history and archeology.

Following the program there will be light refreshments and a short business meeting.
