Charity Baseball Game to Benefit Camp Quality NJ

Players from the New Jersey State Troopers and the Atlantic Baseball Confederation Collegiate League (ABCCL) will take to the field for their annual charity baseball game to benefit Camp Quality New Jersey, a sleep-away camp offered free of charge for kids fighting cancer.

Admission to the game is free-of- charge with tax-deductible donations gladly accepted by representatives of Camp Quality, who will be in attendance.  Now in its 13th season, the ABCCL is an eight-team summer league operated in cooperation and partnership with collegiate baseball programs throughout New Jersey, the Atlantic Region and beyond.

Camp Quality, whose credo is "Letting kids with cancer be kids again," is open to children who are between the ages of five and 17. Camp takes place at a fully-equipped sleep-away camp located off I-80 in Sussex County, N.J. Each camper is assigned their own companion and is able to participate in a full-range of activities from morning to night. CQNJ also provides year round activities for the campers and their families.

For more information on the event, contact Walter Cooper, fundraising coordinator, Camp Quality New Jersey at (732) 547-3551.
