Camp Quality NJ to Join with Girl Scout Troop 81816 To Host Childhood Cancer Awareness Event

September is national Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. In conjunction, Camp Quality New Jersey, a non-profit organization providing free sleep-away camping experiences for children with cancer, is teaming up with Girl Scout Troop 81816 in support of children with cancer by hosting a butterfly release and educational event on Sunday, September 22, from 10 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Geick Park on Route 516 in Old Bridge.

In addition to the butterfly release, the event will feature educational activities and crafts for children, including butterfly face painting and tattoos.  Literature about childhood cancers will be distributed.  The event is open to children of all ages and their families.
