Will You Be Daisee's Valentine?

An Aberdeen-based rescue group is hoping to find these pups loving homes for Valentine's Day.

Castle of Dreams Animal Rescue (CODAR) is an Aberdeen-based, non-profit canine rescue group that takes in dogs from high-kill shelters and puppy mills along the east coast and works to find them any necessary medical attention, foster care and a forever home.

This week CODAR has sent Patch five dogs looking for a permanent, loving home. If you are interested in adopting any of the animals in the slideshow, fill out the application online at www.castle-of-dreams.com.

Jake

Jake, a 6-year-old Labrador mix, was given up when his owner got sick and could no longer care for him. He’s never lived with kids so he probably needs to be place in an adult home or with older kids. He’s sweet and loving and a little sad he’s losing the only owner he ever knew.

Leena

Leena is a Yorkie-Silky mix between 8 and 10 years old. She’s sweet and sassy and loves to play fetch. Since she’s a bit older and set in her ways Leena will need an adult home. She also needs to be an only dog as she wants to keep her people all to herself.

Daisee

Daisee looks like a Lab or Shepherd mix. She was rescued from a Georgia high-kill shelter and is now in New Jersey looking for her forever home. Her foster mom says she’s very sweet, a little shy and a wonderful dog. Only 28 lbs, she’s medium sized and looking for a home that will love her forever.

Raina

Raina is a American Pit Mix who loves people. She’s a ball of energy and needs room to run. If you want an exercise buddy, Raina might be the dog for you. She ignores the cat but should be an only dog. Up to date on vaccinations, spayed and house trained. Raina is looking for a home that will love her energy and playful antics.
