Belmar-The 40th annual Belmar Lake Como St. Patrick's Day Parade was cause for plenty of celebration, and we've compiled some photos and video of the parade route.

Nearly One-Quarter Of Hurricane Sandy Home-Improvement Contractors Not Registered

Jersey Shore- Nearly a quarter of the home-improvement contractors dealing with storm-ravaged areas are not registered with the state Division of Consumer Affairs, according to the state Attorney General's Office. 

Investigators found that 477 of the 628 Home Improvement Contractors they checked were registered or had applied for registration. Another 27 contractors had been registered but their annual registrations were expired and needed to be renewed.

Sandy-Battered Inlet Businesses Start to Re-open in Point Beach

Flooded and beaten to a pulp by Sandy, a few restaurants and a bait and tackle shop in Point Pleasant Beach near the Manasquan Inlet are just beginning to come back to life.

Video: Manasquan Sand Sifting Ahead of Schedule

Manasquan- For the last two weeks, construction equipment has picked up bulldozer buckets of sand and plopped them into a sifter, trucks have hauled off the sifted debris and left piles of clean sand along the Manasquan beachfront. 

This step in repairing Manasquan's beaches after Hurricane Sandy is nearly complete, more than two weeks ahead of schedule, said Councilman Joseph Bossone in his beach committee report.

Video: Nor'easter Begins to Hit Ocean City

Ocean City- In the early stages of this week's nor'easter that is expected to flood Ocean City streets, the wind appears to be the biggest factor.

The beaches at the north and south ends of the island — where Superstorm Sandy wiped out dune systems — appeared to be holding back the ocean during Wednesday morning's low and mid tides.
