Spotlight Players' Auditions for Once Upon a Mattress

Spotlight Players of Matawan proudly presents Once Upon a Mattress, a musical fairy tale - with a twist. Join in this lively and light-hearted retelling of the classic story of the Princess and the Pea. A large cast of characters is needed, aged 14 & up. Please bring sheet music to audition, an accompanist will be provided. Please come prepared to learn a short dance audition, as well.

Accessing Transition Services and Life After High School

Parents of Special People, Inc. will host Maria Fischer, Esq. of the Special Education Law Firm Hinkle, Fingles & Prior. Ms. Fischer will present a workshop on the process of transition, what services are available and what you and the school district will be working on to successfully transition your child out of high school and into a post secondary education or job.

Looking to improve your public speaking skills? Toastmasters is an international organization with hundreds of clubs worldwide. It is dedicated to helping members become confidant and effective public speakers and leaders within the workplace and community. Guests are always welcome and no advance registration is required – just show up.
