Music from E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial, Rodgers’ “The Carousel Waltz” and the shipboard hijinks of Gilbert and Sullivan’s resoundingly popular H. M. S. Pinafore mingle with patriotic favorites and a salute to our Armed Forces. The orchestra conductor is Emil de Cou.

On June 29 at 3:45 p.m., enjoy a musical celebration and story hour with early childhood music expert Lisa Hearns. Geared to children from 1 Month to 5 years of age, Lisa Hearns will share songs and read a Fourth of July book, with an instrumental play-along at the end of the hour. Age-appropriate percussion instruments provided.
