Monday, Jan. 21 - Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

Sacred Health Ministries Health & Physical Fitness Night, 6:30 p.m.

Join the buff and fit crowd at St. Mark for an evening of exercise and fellowship.  Personal trainers Angie Hodges, George Walker and Eddie Watson will lead this free event.

Arcadian Chorale Auditions, 6 p.m. 

Audition for Arcadian Chorale on Tuesday and join the popular group as they celebrate their 20th anniversary.

Matawan Council Meeting, 7 p.m.

The Matawan Borough Council will meet at 7 p.m. on Tuesday for their regular action meeting. Copies of the agenda will be available online as well as at the meeting.

A Night to Restore the Shore,  7:30 p.m.

Mr. Green Tea Ice Cream Co. of Keyport, NJ and Porta Restaurant of Asbury Park NJ have joined forces with Restore the Shore Projects to benefit local Sandy rebuilding efforts by 501c3 charity Waves For Water. A night out to eat, drink, and celebrate life at the Jersey Shore, with a 4-course meal including drinks, live music by local artists, and a silent auction. 100% of proceeds will be donated directly to Waves For Water. Tickets must be purchased before the event.

Wednesday, Jan. 23

Matawan Recreation Commission Meeting, 7 p.m.

The Matawan Recreation Commission will meet at 7 p.m. on Wednesday at town hall. The meeting is open to the public. 

Aberdeen Zoning Board Meeting, 7:30 p.m.

The Aberdeen Township Zoning Board of Adjustment will hold their reorganization meeting at 7:30 p.m. at town hall. 

Thursday, Jan. 24

Aberdeen/Matawan Girls Recreation Softball Registration, 10 a.m.

Register in-person for the Aberdeen/Matawan Girls Softball league. Registration costs $90 and is open to grades K-12. Players do not have to be from Matawan or Aberdeen.
