Sunday is Our Last Chance to Vote to Win $100,000

Deck the House contest ends today

By 11:59 p.m. tonight, Jan. 8, Patch readers across the country will have delivered their ruling on who has the best holiday decorations.

The Carroll-Darcy home on Waverly Place in Aberdeen made it to the finals, one of 24 homes in the country to do so. With only hours left to go, it's important to get everyone in town to vote one last time. The winner not only get's bragging rights (come on, do we really want to lose to California??), but also $100,000 for the local school district.

$100,000 is no small amount. It can buy 5,000 soccer balls, 83 MacBook Pro laptops or 52 new promethean smartboards. More importantly, however, it can buy new and enhanced opportunities for our local children.

Even though we are not in the lead, we are not out of the running. If everybody in both Matawan and Aberdeen votes just one time, today, we will have the most amount of votes. So, call your friends, family, colleagues and neighbors and make sure everyone votes at deckthehouse.patch.com for the Carroll-Darcy home in Aberdeen.
