The community is invited to take part join Temple Shalom of Aberdeen and New Light Baptist Church of Cliffwood Beach to honor the memory of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Temple Shalom will welcome Rev. John Armstrong and his congregation to Friday night services where Rev. Armstrong will be the speaker.  The Temple Shalom and New Light choirs will join together in song at this service. 

Rocky Horror Picture Show, 11:30 p.m.

The Friday Nite Specials cast will perform at the Strathmore Art Cinema at 1055 Rt. 34 Aberdeen. Shows are every 'Friday Nite' at midnight and tickets cost $6.50. Join us for a unique experience blending movie, live cast and audience participation.

Indoor Market at First Friends Day Care, 9 a.m.

If you love a great bargain and quality items come visit this indoor market. If you are interested in joining us as a vendor drop by and talk to Alice. This market will be held every Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

'You Can't Take it With You', 3 p.m. & 8 p.m.

Spotlight Players of Matawan proudly presents the classic comedy You Can't Take It With You! Focused on the eccentric Sycamore family, the play aims to prove that there's nothing more important than love, family and finding your own bit of happiness in this world. Join them at First Presbyterian Church for an evening of heartfelt laughs and a few surprises.

Meet Author of "The Everything Kosher Slow Cooker Cookbook", 2:30 p.m.

During a joint program with Matawan Hadassah and Sisterhood of Temple Beth Ahm, Dena Price will talk about her recipe blog and her new cookbook. There will be a tasting of three delicious recipes. Copies of Dena's cookbook will be available for sale.

Monday, Jan. 21

Presidential Inaugural Celebration, 9:30 a.m.

The Steward Board of St. Mark will be sponsoring Presidential Inaugural Celebration on Jan. 21 in the church's social hall. The award-winning documentary film "Freedom Riders" will be shown. Free food and prizes will be given out. Come join your friends and neighbors to pray, play and look to the Lord for his blessings on our country.
