Get Free Ice, Water & a Warm Meal

A message from the Aberdeen Township Office Of Emergency Management:

JCP&L has indicated that there are crews working in our area, but that power outages may last several more days. Free water and ice is being provided to residents who are still without power.

Residents need to present a drivers license and JCP&L bill for $5.00 worth of ice and/or water. A limited amount of water will be available at the Monmouth County Office of Emergency Management parking lot located at 300 Halls Mill Rd., Freehold, NJ 07728 after 4:00 PM on Monday August 29th.

• Editor's Note: According to a statement issued by the Matawan Borough, Matawan residents without power may also obtain free ice and water from Shop Rite in Aberdeen.

The Red Cross will be serving heater meals at Middletown High School North on Tindall Road, Middletown from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM this evening.

Residents are requested to be considerate of their neighbors and limit generator use to reasonable hours unless needed for a medical reason.
