Museum Passes Available Through Library

The Matawan Aberdeen library is offering free passes to area museums, thanks to the Friends of the Matawan Aberdeen Public Library.

Patrons of the can now visit Grounds for Sculpture in Hamilton and the American Museum of Natural History, the Childrens Museum of Manhattan and the Guggenheim in Manhattan — all for free, courtesy of the Friends of the Matawan Aberdeen Public Library.

The museum passes work just like the library's other materials. There are a limited amount for each museum, and each can only be reserved or "checked out" for a certain period of time. Patrons can reserve a pass to visit one of these museums by either calling or visiting the library. Passes can also be reserved online here. A library card must be presented when picking up the pass at the library's main desk (the circulation desk). Passes go out on a three-day loaning period.

The amount of people admitted per pass varies with each museum. More details on museum passes and the museums themselves can be found here.
