I was finally able to talk to a rep at JCPL.. She said they are gonna try and restore the power back by Nov 7th, before the new nor’easter storm hits... If its not done by Nov 7th, then she said we have to expect the power back by Nov 10th..and thats going to be two full weeks without power!..Lets hope for the best..

@Meera - Thanks for the update, but you know that if there's wind, the power will be out again. I thinks its funny that they give these random estimates in Matawan for Nov 8th, 9th & 10th. Who are the 2,000 customers in Matawan that have electricity? we don't have power. Are they doing creative accounting & did they fail their first grade math classes: http://nj.gov/nj/home/features/spotlight/20121105_JCP&L_Town.pdf

File a complaint with the BPU to revoke their license. http://www.state.nj.us/bpu/assistance/complaints/
